QIP Accreditation
Accreditation is a voluntary process that is aimed at promoting continuous quality improvement. It means that our quality systems, processes and infection control are in keeping with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS). This standard has been developed in conjunction with the Australian Dental Association.
In August 2015 we were one of the first dental practices in Melbourne to have achieved Dental Practice Accreditation.
It signifies the commitment we have as a health care provider to ensure our practice offers the best it can to ensure Safety, Quality and Peace of Mind.
The process is assessed by an external organisation and the standards are very high. There is a need for ongoing renewal and updating to keep us current and relevant.
At the dental gallery Yvonne Hay has been instrumental in achieving this. She has worked hard and invested many hours into the process and continues to maintain the accreditation with ongoing compliance updates.
